The members of the 2012 organising committee are:
We are pleased to call for abstracts for the 8th International Postgraduate Conference in Translation and Interpreting (IPCITI), to be hosted by the Centre for Translation and Textual Studies, Dublin City University, Ireland, from November 8th to 10th 2012.
IPCITI is a collaborative conference designed to provide new researchers from all areas of translation and interpreting studies with the opportunity to share their research with peers in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment. Day one of IPCITI is devoted to pre-conference workshops; days two and three are devoted to keynote lectures and parallel conference sessions.
The conference aims to showcase the great diversity of research in current translation and interpreting studies and invites abstracts from all relevant areas. Topics of specific interest to our organising committee include (but are by no means limited to):

English-language abstracts of 400-450 words should be submitted no later than 23rd July 2012. IPCITI 2012 uses the EasyChair conference management system. To submit your abstract, go to the submission website at:

and follow the instructions.

1) Click: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ipciti2012
2) If you already have an EasyChair account, login with your details. If this is your first time using EasyChair, click on "sign up for an account".
3) Fill out the form. EasyChair will then send you an email with a link to create the account.
4) Once you are logged in, click "New Submission" at the top.
5) Fill in the "address for correspondence", "authors", "title and abstract" and a list of "keywords" to characterise your submission.
6) As you are submitting an abstract, tick "Abstract Only". (You don't need to upload a pdf file at this point in time.)
7) Click "Submit". You will receive an email with the details of the submission.
8) You will be redirected to a submission summary. You can change or withdraw your submission then (upper right hand corner), or at a later stage logging into EasyChair.
